hi,

the SYSTEM tablespace of a DB filled up, and OEM generated a critical warning for it 'Tablespace SYSTEM is 99 percent full'. So far so good.

The SYSTEM tablespace was extended but the critical warning still remains.

I've been trying following sensible and absurd things:
- disabled threshold for SYSTEM tablespace

I'v been playing with the thresholds of other tablespaces: they get set and reset normally.

The critical warning was set while we were on 10.1.0.2. The DB has in the mean time been patched to 10.1.0.3.

BTW : Tablespace thresholds correctly states:
- size: 1024MB

But of we click on the critical warning OEM states:
- Last known value: .48 ???

Thanks in advance for any pointers,
Joe. Received on Mon Jan 17 2005 - 07:48:07 CST
