All right thanks I understand more. Yes, anytime you have more than 30 roles in a database you want to consider whether you need to increase max_enabled_roles.

Read the doco, but this parameter limits the number a connected user can currently have enabled or "in effect" at a given time. So even if you have more than 30 in total it doesn't impact anyone if the parameter is not set to more than 30.

Obviously as you are learning, the parameter does come into play in a somewhat different manner in a full import. Received on Sat Jan 15 2005 - 12:55:50 CST
