To be blunt ... when we tried to build a RAC cluster we ran into problems with driver compatibility. Contacted their local reps that had zero experience so we contacted their support team where we were informed that they hadn't actually ever tested the configuration into which they sold the unit and would work with us on it. We then experienced several weeks of zero support, no return phone calls, no return emails, etc. And when I say "we" I mean not just myself but also the local Oracle systems specialist assigned to the project. He was so angry he was the one that made the decision to send it back and will no longer recommend EMC for RAC. The NetApp that replaced it was functional in less than two hours.
