I have a Windows 2000 Professional on my desktop. I want to use ODBC to connect Microsoft Access to a Oracle backend. Oracle database is on a HP UNIX Server and 9.2.0.5.

My question is do I require any installation of Oracle, e.g. Oracle Windows Client on PC or ODBC driver is self contained ( I don't know whether Windows 2000 comes with ODBC driver for Oracle 9.2.0.x).

I always have Oracle installed on my PC but my clients will not, that is why I am asking this question.
Appreciate any answers.

Thansk,
