Re: Error in retrieving past postings when replying

I was able to retrieve it just now, so I suppose you've hit one of the many issues google has. I've ocassionally received that message when trying to reply to a post that otherwise would have quoted the message automatically. Nowadays with the beta, I seem to get different posting screens at random times.

I speculate google has some mechanism for caching messages around the globe, and your inquiry got kicked off the queue while trying to get to the cache. If you still can't get to the message, post again and I'll mail you the replies.

When you have issues like this, be sure and let google know, so they can fix it. There is a "contact us" link on the group help pages. They do seem to respond to the contact, and it doesn't have to be your posting address.
