Oracle 8 on P IV and Java does not work

I have a problem installing Oracle 8.0 DB. Release Notes show 8.0.3. Formerly I installed this version several times using Windows NT 4.0 and it always worked well.

Now I changed to a Pentium IV and Win 2000 Advanced Server, and the installation does not work any longer.

I learned, that the OUI has a bug with PIV and Java, and that there should be 2 solutions:
First, install Patch 1507768, but I cannot download it from anywhere  Second, delete file symcjit.dll, but I cannot find this file on my disk after unzipping:
There is also no path like
C:\Disk1\stage\Components\oracle.swd.jre\1.1.7.30/1\Datafiles\Expanded\jre\w in32\bin\ ,
instead, there are folders like nt_x86, jdbc, Win32 and cpqss.  Do I have a different version?

What should I do to get the OUI running? A link for the patch could be helpful Received on Fri Dec 17 2004 - 13:43:19 CST
