  1. Are you talking about SQL Windows as in "Gupta SQL Windows AKA Centura" or GUI window associated with a sqlplus session?
  2. Connection Object?? Are you referring to Sql handle of each connection. In tools like VB, Centura etc... you do get a sql handle when you connect to a database. In Sqlplus, you are connected and can run any query. Not sure what you are asking here.
  3. What does it all have to do with performance tuning?
