Sybase, try not to 'port' a sqlserver app to Oracle or suffer the
consequences (angry customers). It won't work, ever!

Oracle Essentials, published by O' Reilly seems to be pretty good,
though I don't have it myself.
Other than that : both books by Thomas Kyte, especially the first 3
chapters of the oldest book of the two.
