DB2 II is DB2 Information Integrator
It is the result of the merge of
DB2 Datajoiner (based on DB2 V2 for CS) + "Garlic" (a research project in Almaden) and DB2 UDB for LUW.
In a nutshell it's a special DB2 UDB for LUW license + so-called "Wrappers" which encapsulate the remote DBMS client interfaces + some GUI support (I think?).
