Although, Tom, if you were referring to RAC in an OpenVMS Galaxy, you would be a lot closer to "shared everything" as CPU's can be moved from one OS instance to another - even if one of those systems is Itanium - dymanically. :) (reference the HP GS1280/RX2600 Galaxy Cluster with Oracle 9iRAC demo)
