Sorry to hear about that :(. If the procedures are yours, do you have
something on the web that's better, possibly more up-to-date? Any ideas
about the questions that I posed?
I think that I've now mucked things up, to the point that I can no longer even startup the database instance :(! In OEM, when I try to startup the database, I get a popup that says "The database needs to be opened with RESETLOGS". Then I get another popup with an ORA-01113 and an ORA-01110, saying "data file 1: 'E:\CLONED\SYSTEM01.DBF'". When I'm done with that, the instance goes back to the "Mounted" state, but not "Open".
