We are currently using an home made LDAP toolkit (Via external C procedures) with oracle 8i std edition. Seems like LDAP is only available in the enterprise edition with 8i and you NEED to use oracle OID. Why oh why don't they interoperate with ANY standard compliant LDAP vendor ?

Is 9i STD edition any better with regards to the DBMS_LDAP package ? Is it possible to use it in 9i STANDARD edition and if so, are we FORCED to use OID ? Thanks Received on Fri Jun 11 2004 - 09:52:49 CDT
