I set up two machines with Oracle 9i Enterprise and Data Guard. The first machine is a primary database server and the second is set up as a logical standby database.

It runs fine, but if I try an "select sequencename.nextval from dual" I get the error message:

LOGSTDBY event: ORA-06550: line 1, column 7: PLS-00306: wrong number or types of arguments in call to 'SEQUPD' ORA-06550: line 1, column 7:
PL/SQL: Statement ignored
LOGSTDBY stmt: SYS.SEQ$ (Oper=UPDATE)

It is not possible to acces any sequence.

The database version is 9.2.0.4. Received on Thu Mar 18 2004 - 08:52:44 CST
