repeating ORA-06508 error, comes and goes PR5789

I am having trouble using Forms Runtime 4.5.7.1.7 with Oracle Server 7.3.4.0.0. Occasionally I get the following error when calling a procedure,

POST-13400 Executing PL/SQL Procedure Device.RunProcess

Message returned:

ORA-06508: PL/SQL: could not find program unit being called Unhandled exception while calling Interma.CalcPQ {0} Message from advance [Entered Process.ProcessCode]

The weird thing is that this happens at random times. And if you wait several minutes (or sometimes hours) the error goes away and the procedure works. The problem just started to arise and the procedure was running fine for months before hand. I have checked the packages and package bodies and they all report a valid status. Thank you in advance for any help.

P.S. Please do not respond with a message telling me I should upgrade Oracle or asking me why I am using such and old version. These replies do not help anyone. Obviously, upgrading is not a viable option or It would have already been done. Thank you. Received on Fri Mar 12 2004 - 14:31:03 CST
