No need re-install oracle, if it's in a seperate partition than root, nothing needs to be done, just install Solaris 9 and reboot the machine.

No need migrate Oracle datafiles.

Yes

Yes. I have a database now can run under Solars 8 and 9, nothing needs to done, just change the boot disk and reboot will take care of it.

If you datafiles ( or any oracle files ) are in root partition and the root partition
needs format or resizing, just do a cold back the data files on some other disks,
after install, you can copy it back to the original partition or Alter Database
rename datafiles......
