Any ideas why this would be in v$sql?

"select length(chr(2000000000)) from dual"

If I run it, I get "1".
What the heck could be firing this off?

Obviously, I don't have any SQL anywhere with this.
Any ideas why it would be there?

8.1.7, Windoze, vanilla system. Websphere is running, but I'm told "cross my heart hope to die" by the Java folks they don't have anything like this anywhere in their code.

TIA. Cheers
