Problems with '@' on remote SQL*Plus Worksheet

Hello out there,

this may be slightly off topic but since the problem does not occur with other software, I'm posting it here.

I'm running Oracle 9.2 on a Sun box (sparc) under Solaris 9. When I ssh to it from a Linux box (i386) and open an SQL*Plus Worksheet with

oemapp worksheet &

I cannot type the '@'. AltGr-Q normally gives @ on a german keyboard. Any other program (like Emacs, SQL*Plus, xterm etc.) show it but SQL*Plus Worksheet shows 'q'.

This is somewhat annoying since I have to type start test.sql instead of @test.sql

When I start SQL*Plus Worksheet locally on the Linux box I can type '@' normally.

By the way, how do I copy and paste from xterm into SQL*Plus Worksheet? Marking with the mouse and pressing the middle button does not work and Ctrl-V pastes only what I previously copied in the worksheet with Ctrl-C. (Yeah, I like Java software! I behaves equally on every platform but differently from every platform :-)

Any ideas?

Lothar
