ORA-01102: cannot mount database in EXCLUSIVE mode

Hi all,



I am getting this error when I try to start my database.
"ORA-01102: cannot mount database in EXCLUSIVE mode."



I get the error even if no other databases are running.
Can anyone tell me how to solve the problem and the reason for the
problem.

P.S : I am sorry for multi posting. I have not get an answer on the
other group for many hours.
