Migrating 8.1.6 database to 8.1.7.x

Hi,

I wanted to get your reccomendations on updating my database from 8.1.6 to 8.1.7.4.

Right now I have an exported copy of the production database on my development Oracle 8.1.7 server. I wanted to get your reccomendations of getting that database to 81.7.4.

Should I migrate the database into 8.1.7 and then run the patch sets to get everything to 8.1.7.4 OR
Should I update to 8.1.7.4 and then migrate the database from 8.1.6.

I want to do whatever is easier if there is no difference in either method. Your thoughts?
