capture oracle errors

Greetings,

I am looking for a tool similar to SQL MOnitor from Quest software. What I would like:

• the tool would be sitting silently in the background (an open window is not a problem, or perhaps something on the tray)
• the tool logs only those calls which causes an Oracle error, together with the sql command and the bound variables
• it has to be able to handle long batch processes without exhausting system memory resources (that's the problem with sql monitor)

Any ideas?
