async i/o via nfs?

Hi!


I've got 9.2.0.3 on a linux redhat ES 2.1.
Now I'd like to switch on asyncronous i/o. The problem is
that one of my controlfile copies and one of my archivelog copies
sits on another machine that is mounted via nfs.



Can I still do async i/o?
