Yes it is possible - I use it daily.
You cannot connect from 9i to an Oracle 7 database any more though :o)

Subject: Connecting from version 9.2.0.1.0 client to version 8.0.6 server

Is the connection from a 9.2.0.1.0 client to a server running 8.0.6 possible?

Thanks in advance! Received on Mon Jul 21 2003 - 11:24:38 CDT
