| Hi,
|
| For OEM console version 9.2.0.1 running on Windows 2000 Server (OMS is
| also on this same server), I wonder how do I create events to be
| monitor, in terms of seconds. On the create event screen, under
| schedule tab, I can only specify the interval in terms of hours and
| minutes, but most of the recommended frequency from the help is in
| terms of seconds (example 30 seconds).
|
| Please advice. Thank you.

Don't have OEM for 9.2 at hand, but I can't imagine the help recommends 30
sec intervals. Shouldn't it be read as 30 minutes?
Do you really consider it usefull to check for example number of extents or
free space every 30 sec?
There are only a very few events I want to check with high frequency, and
that means 1 minuut or 5 minutes interval in my opinion. Don't underestimate
the load some events add to the database.
But if you insist: does it accept 0.5 as a value? (Sorry, can't test now,
have OEM only at work)
