The ability to gather and share accurate, actionable intelligence in a timely manner is mission critical and is the lifeblood of major organizations today.
Gaining competitive advantage, bringing products to market quicker and receiving return on intellectual assets requires sifting through vast amounts of data constantly flowing into multiple repositories, disparate servers as well as in structured databases. Search is a good starting point for the problem of finding a document but new technologies are required for understanding and effectively using the data- leveraging it, analyzing it in its original language, mining it to get rid of the useless information, and routing the information to the right people.
Join us for an exclusive Web Seminar. Learn how search, data classification and the unification of data, combined with new best of breed linguistic analysis tools deliver the information that supports mission critical, line of business driven applications.
*Search By Concept: Triplehop's unique and patent-pending Search-By
Concept technology enables users to search using not only keywords,
but also synonyms and related terms. Unlike typical search engines,
MatchPoint lets users search by concept, as opposed to just keywords.
As such, MatchPoint retrieves not only documents that contain the word
entered by the user, but also documents that may not contain this word
but contain instead words that relate to the same concept.
*Search across multiple document management repositories, content
residing within disparate databases and email servers.
*Learning Mechanisms: The universal search functionality is based on
TripleHop's proprietary learning algorithms. Through both explicit and
implicit feedback mechanisms, the system continuously learns from user
interaction, while being efficient from the first utilization. The
system learns from users which documents are the most relevant to
certain searches, and as result learns to display the most relevant
first and discards over time the documents judged as irrelevant by
users.
*Personalization: The universal search functionality builds profiles
of each user through usage, and among other things automatically
displays "Recommended Readings" to users based on their learned
interests. The functionality includes a long term and a short term
memory, and as such is very reactive to shifts in user interests.
