better: sounds like workflows, business rules etc. are continually evolving and changing. Nothing's carved in stone. And our customers ought to do their jobs (supported by appropriate software systems) *today* and not *next year*.

be assured: we have a very good control of our development process. We're responding to the needs of our customers. They pay us for:
not for keeping the holy grail of technology.

I would always prefer to work in an enviroment which seems to be a little bit strange to me. Everything else bores to death.
