ORA-07217 error in sqlplus

Hello, I need help. After installing Oracle 8.1.7 on a Solaris I get this error when I try to log on with sqlplus:

ORA-07217: sltln: environment variable cannot be evaluated.

This is the result of env:

What could be possible errors? Is sltln an environment variable? Thanks in advance,
