Environment : Windows XP Professional, Oracle 9.2.0.1. Compaque Hardware.

First of all, I am new to Microsoft XP world.

I have installed oracle S/W on external drive on my home PC. I also have the similar desktop @ work. Oracle Home stays the same on both PC. viz. D:\Oracle92. I have done following.

I exported registry entries under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->Software->Oracle from my home PC and imported to my work PC. They were imported without an errors. I also got all the program items copied under 'START->Programs->Oracle.

Now I am wondering , how do I get all the services added to my work PC?
Can anybody help me there?
Apart from this what else need to be done to make this thing work? What changes required to make this config work in Windows2000 ( My Laptop)?

Thanks in advance for you answers. Received on Thu Apr 17 2003 - 23:49:03 CDT
