Direct upgrade is not an option as mentioned in my previous post.
- As far as applying the OS patches, I did not realize this before
but I can apply the patch and then bring up Oracle 8.0.5 to see if it
agrees with it. If OK then I can commit the patch or else rollback.
- As far as 9i install in the second home... I guess I have to
install it and hope that both versions will behave with each other as
they should.
