Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> Anyone recommend a good Unix Scripting book?
Im going to do alot of Korn Shell scripting on my new project and Im pretty
weak at it. Its all related to Oracle work. Any recommendations on a good
unix scripting book with lots of examples. We have the general O'Reilly
stuff and I know the basics. I just find it easier if I can see examples of
how to do this and how to do that kind of thing. Lots of code I can
canabalize.
Is this book any good?
Unix Shells by Example
by Ellie Quigley
So I dont have to hunt through 20-30 sites, could someone recommend a good site with lots of good scripting examples?
BTW, I checked Amazon and Oracle9i UNIX Administration Handbook by Donald K. Burleson, Don Burleson
got horrible reviews. Anyone read it? Received on Tue Apr 15 2003 - 19:34:17 CDT
