Show your code what you say makes no sense.  You can turn off
triggers, but that will not haoppen by accident, believe me!



It does not make sense that you have it running in SQL Plus and then
it does not work from VB....  It should either fail entirely and work
entirely.



So please post your code for creating the table and the trigger so we
can have a look.
