Interface Server

I wanna to develop a Application Interface Server between the Database Server and
Application Server. In my Application Interface Server, I am requested to include the
following requirement:

1) All SQL logic will contain in the Interface server
2) All Application need to get the result through Interface server
3) Application maybe developed by different language (e.g Java, ASP,

VB.....), so
Interface server should support more than one Languages.

Do you have any suggestion for me? Is there any commerical or free product on the market?
Or I need to develop it by myself? The Interface Server will be on Lunix/Unix platform.
