Hi,

i'am searching for an Application Proxy for Oracle and found in the Internet something called Oracle Connection Manager. This should be a Proxy/Firewall that can be used with Oracle DBs. Is this an extra product from Oracle or is it included in the Enterprise Edidtion of Oracle? Has anybody some information on this or some experience with the Oracle Connection Manager?

I have also read something about a problem with random ports when using an application proxy. Somewhere there stood something like, that it's a matter of if the Oracle runs in dedicated or multi-threaded mode.

Regards,
