Agree entirely. In the past four days or so, I have had the line "I don't charge for access to my site's materials, so I thought it was OK to host your copyrighted material" on a couple of occasions now. Lack of charging doesn't mean the thing is public domain, and I'm getting a bit grumpy myself hearing how free should mean free-for-all.

By the way, I think there was a "na" missing in your penultimate sentence.
