OEM 9.0.1 event failing

I had one of my OEM 901 events fail today with ora-1017: invalid username/password. The event has been running for nearly a year without incident. The username/password has not changed and I can still use the same preferred credentials with the console to connect to the database. Metalink has nothing on this so I thought I'd ask here about it.
