Hi Gaetan,

if you do go down the road of exp/imp to 'migrate' from 8.0.5 to 8i as suggested by Harry, then assuming you are running 8.1.7.4 do have a good look at converting to Locally Managed Tablespaces - they make the dba's life so much easier.

PS. And remember the default for COMPRESS is YES on exp, make sure you change it to NO :o)
