Using lsnrctl (at least that is what I'd use on *nix). What problem do you have & why do you think you'd benefit from having another listener? If is it listening on the same NIC to which the existing listener monitors. I can assure you that you'll get no increase in traffic into the instance. You are resource limited by the Ethernet cable (CSMA/CD). Only one box at a time can "talk" on the cable. Received on Fri Sep 27 2002 - 20:05:22 CDT
