Re: the OracleMysidService could not be stopped.

Also, do not confuse stopping the service with shutting down the database..While stopping the service DOES cause a shutdown, I would recommend actually shutting down the database first( as sysdba) , then stopping the service - That way you can control the type of shutdown and are sure it is done before the services stop...
