That's a good idea too. This is the way most of our web-sites have been setup, using a user table, etc. We receive a user load from an H.R. system, which loads user details into a table. There are about 50,000 users on this system. One of the columns in the user table is login ID and password.

It would certainly make things simpler, I think. It's just the way the DBA has designed the structure for this database. Myself being an applications programmer, doesn't have much say in what goes so far as the database.
