This event is NOT just for DB2 DBAs, but DBAs working with Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase or Informix, as many of the vendors have cross-DBMS tools.
Join us for the 2002 Southeastern Database Vendor Fair in Greensboro, NC
(near the Greensboro Airport) on Thursday, September 26th. This year's
Vendor Fair theme is "Perform Better, Produce More". If that sounds
like your management's mantra, then this is the event for you. We have
lined up
numerous vendors covering a wide variety of database products. Whatever
you need to manage your data more effectively, we have vendors who can
help you,
including tools to help you comply with HIPAA or the Gramm,
Leach, Bliley Acts. Here is your chance to

This year's vendor fair is being co-hosted by SIRDUG and TRIDUG, with invitations going to several other database user groups.

Registration
To pre-register please email vendorfair_registration_at_sirdug.org and give us your name, company, email address, and phone number.
Pre-registration must be completed by Midnight, Friday, September 20th. Please feel free to invite others from your company (just make sure they pre-register as well). If you know others in your company who are interested in attending future SIRDUG events, please encourage them to become members of our distribution list (we just need their names, email addresses and phone numbers).
Registration Note
SIRDUG will be calling or emailing a confirmation for each person who
pre-registers by the deadline. If you have pre-registered and have not
received a confirmation by the day after the deadline, please notify
us as your registration may not have been received.
If you have not pre-registered by the deadline, you may pre-register after the deadline or register at the door, but the availability of presentation handouts and lunch can not be guaranteed and confirmations will not be sent.

Take I-85 North TO I-40 West.
Take Exit 210 (Airport Exit).
Turn right at the bottom of the exit, onto HWY 68 North.

From Western NC:
Take I-40 East To Exit 210 (Airport Exit).
