Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> SNMP agent : how to browse all MIBs ?
Hi all,
I launched the snmp agent on Oracle by "start_peer -a" and then "agentctl start agent". It finds all services, i.e. my database and my listener, as the snmp_ro.ora contains :
snmp.visibleservices = (smp_lsnr, SMS) snmp.shortname.smp_lsnr = SMP_LSNR snmp.longname.smp_lsnr = smp_lsnr_amoi snmp.configfile.smp_lsnr =
snmp.oraclehome.smp_lsnr = /u01/app/oracle/product/9.0.1 snmp.SID.SMS = SMS snmp.oraclehome.SMS = /u01/app/oracle/product/9.0.1 snmp.address.SMS = (ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=BEQ)(PROGRAM=/u01/app/oracle/product/9.0.1/bin/oracle)(ARGV0=oracleSMS)(ARGS='(DESCRIPTION=(LOCAL=YES)(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=beq)))')(ENVS='ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/oracle/product/9.0.1,ORACLE_SID=SMS')) snmp.remoteaddress.SMS = (DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS_LIST = (ADDRESS =
My problem is that I cannot manage to browse all MIBs. I only see listener MIB. I use HP OpenView (or the MibBrowser of MG-soft under Windows). What have I to do to browse other MIBs that you can find in $ORACLE_HOME/network.doc/
Thanks in advance. Received on Thu May 30 2002 - 11:04:54 CDT
