What WOULD be a good reason?
I used to give OEM space in SYSTEM and as soon as I realized the ridiculousness of that, I stopped that.
Of course the data dictionary and PL/SQL and such take up space there, but indirectly so to speak. SQL*PLUS's help tables and such are shoved in TOOLS.
What legitimately does belong there, apart from Oracle internal objects?
