It's the same procedure -- I have done it in ver. 7, 8 & 8i. The only caveat is, of course, that you cannot drop the current redo log group -- but that applies to any version. I usually wait until the DB is quiescent before doing it... Received on Mon Nov 26 2001 - 16:35:11 CST
