sql *plus crash with Dr Watson error

Does any one know why sql plus keep crashing on your workstation with
a Dr Watson error. This happens 5-10 times a day randomly. No obvious
pattern.


Workstation - NT4.0, sql plus - Release 8.1.5.0.0  
All in all its a bloody pain in the ar.....
