I recently upgraded to Oracle 8.1.7 Enterprise from 8.15 in solaris 8. When I ran catalog.sql I encountered several
messages like this:
ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1 ORA-00904: invalid column name

While running catproc.sql I encounted several messages like this:

ORA-06554: package DBMS_STANDARD must be created before using PL/SQL

What went wrong. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks,
