If the other posts about the shared pool don't help, you might want to
search metalink.
There is/was a bug with 8.1.7.1 that resulted in this error happening quite often. There was a work around with a hidden parameter. You might want to check metalink to see if it also affects 8.1.6. Off the top of my head I don't recall.
