Hi everybody!
I have a problem with installing Oracle 9iAS portal 3.0 into Oracle 8.1.7
database. When I try to configure portal 3.0 using Oracle 9i AS portal
configuration assistant I get error message " function based index
disabled". How can I enable function based indexes or how can I avoid this
problem and successfully install portal 3.0.
I try to set
QUERY_REWRITE_ENABLED to TRUE and
QUERY_REWRITE_INTEGRITY to TRUSTED
parameters in init.ora file but it didn't help. I have also granted
QUERY_REWRITE sistem privilige to portal30 user and it didn't help either.
Can anybody help , please!
