I'm not big fan of MS WINDOWS, but I must disagree. Windows has functionality to uninstall correctly written application almost clearly (with exception to some shared DLLs). However Oracle Server doesn't behave like correct application. I think that Oracle guys doesn't even think about someone uninstalling so great software like Oracle Server. :-)
I think that this bug is from the beginning of Oracle Server for WIN32, I know certainly that this problem was in Oracle 8.
