8.1.7 Net8 Assistant Problem on Windows

Dear all,



According to bug 1552384, Oracle 8.1.7 Net8 Assistant crashes both on
Windows 95 and Windows 2000, this bug has been fixed in 9.0.1, a
workaround is to use 8.1.6 Net8 Assistant instead.



1.My 8.1.6 is not around, anyone tried 9.0.1 Net8 Assistant + 8.1.7
database?


2.jrew.exe seems to be the same on Windows platforms, therefore,
Windows 98 and Windows NT might suffer a similar problem. Anyone tried
this?
