Oracle and Veritas direct io

I have Veritas Datbase Edition with vxfs file-system on sun Sparc Solaris, Oracle database 816 64b, but without quick i/o.

Parameters : db_block_size = 8K,

                   db_file_multiblock_read_count=16K

I want to use direct io.

1/ How i indicate i want to use direct io, il have found two options to the mount option of the fs, mincache=direct and convosync=direct.

2/ If i use direct io, is there parameters to modify in the init.ora ? Can i again put disk_async_io to TRUE or must i to put disk_async_io to FALSE and what about tape_async_io ?
What about db_file_direct_io ?

3/ Do you have an idea about the srtipe size for disks in my configuration (i suggest to put stripe size to 128K). What about a stripe size for the disks ?
