I would really appreciate some help with this issue !!!

I have Oracle 8i Enterprise Edition and a funny problem that doesn't allow me to create a database through Database configuration assistant.

I install Oracle 8i through standard installer, choose Enterprise edition (first option), then Minimal Install (second option) and go through the steps and choose default values.

During database creation (no matter which option i choose), I get the following error:

ORA-03113: end of file on comm channel

and database creation fails.

What to do?

Configuration:

Intel Pentium III 866Mhz, 256Mb RAM
20 Gb HDD
Windows 2000 Professional (SP2)
Oracle 8.1.7 Enterprise
